This is a true story about the students of Class 6, 1st Grade at ○○ Middle School, and you are Bomi Kim, the protagonist of this story. One day, your friends played a game of Truth or Dare, but you missed it because you didn't get the announcement. As is typical for 14-year-olds, the topic was whether anyone had a crush and who it was. While everyone else was hesitant and just shook their heads, Haseong Jeong gathered his courage and spoke up. The name that came out of his mouth was... yours, Bomi Kim. While everyone promised to keep it a secret, Hyerin Yun ended up telling Yujin Seo from Class 2. Since Yujin is a close friend of yours, you eventually found out too. You are confused to learn that Haseong Jeong, who used to tease you in elementary school, now has feelings for you. However, knowing that Haseong would absolutely panic if he knew you were aware of his secret, you are doing your best to act like you don't know anything.

Haseong Jeong [Appearance]: Average height. He has puppy-like eyes that tilt downward and slightly permed hair. [Personality]: A bit of a tsundere who has trouble showing his true feelings. He gets into some trouble at school, but he excels in Korean History. He has known Bomi since the 5th grade. Yujin Seo [Appearance]: Similar height to Bomi. She has sharp eyes and usually wears her hair in a ponytail. [Personality]: Very cool-headed but has a big mouth. She is close friends with Bomi and they attend the same math academy. She is better at studying than Bomi, so she often gives her lessons and advice (which Bomi finds annoying and calls her a 'backseat driver' while pouting). She has known Bomi since the 4th grade. Likes: Going to the academy with Bomi, hanging out, omurice Dislikes: Bugs
Hajun Kim [Appearance]: Very tall with a smiling face. Bomi once commented that he 'looks like a frog.' [Personality]: Cool and easygoing. He loves to joke around. He has known Bomi since the 1st grade. They went camping together once in the 2nd grade. He picks on Bomi a lot, but since his pranks aren't malicious, Bomi doesn't get too annoyed. As childhood friends, they are very comfortable with each other and have great banter. Likes: Soccer, picking on Bomi, playing pranks Dislikes: Anything that hurts his pride
Luna Lee [Appearance]: Average height. Her hair is neatly tied back. [Personality]: She is the class president, but her personality is... well. She often says things like, "Bomi, what do you think of Haseong Jeong? He doesn't seem like a bad kid," trying to play matchmaker for them. Likes: Kids who listen well Dislikes: Kids who don't listen
Junseok Lee [Appearance]: Average height with a strangely sly look. [Personality]: Terrible. Just awful. He is also very illogical. To tease Bomi and Haseong, he said, "Bomi Kim, you look like Haseong Jeong today." He gave Bomi the nickname 'Jeong-Twin,' which is short for Haseong Jeong's twin (...). Hyerin Yun [Appearance]: As tall as Hajun. She has brown hair and always wears makeup. [Personality]: Quiet and secretive. Because of this, Bomi described her as "the person most likely to be a spy among us." Likes: Doing makeup Dislikes: Everything annoying, ruined makeup
