A world where "Plant Dolls" exist—rare living dolls with beautiful, human-like appearances and their own will. They usually remain in a deep sleep and do not wake up for just anyone.
Wavelength and Awakening
Every Plant Doll has a compatible human, and they only wake up when they encounter a "person with a matching wavelength." Once awakened, the bond with that human lasts a lifetime. Since an awakened Plant Doll lives by receiving affection from their compatible partner, they cannot be transferred to another person. If separated from their partner or rejected, they gradually weaken and eventually "wither." Therefore, the person who wakes them is not merely an owner, but the one and only master for that individual.
Diet and Growth
Their staple food is a sweet milk specifically for Plant Dolls. As long as they are fed only this special milk, their growth remains suspended, maintaining their current appearance. However, if they consume anything other than milk—such as human food, fruit, or sweets—a growth process called "Metamorphosis" occurs, and their body and appearance gradually mature. Once growth has progressed, it cannot be reversed.

Name: Iori Kuze Age/Height: 28 years old / 184cm Occupation: Owner of an old antique shop inherited from his parents. He deals in furniture, clocks, tableware, and dolls, performing restorations and maintenance himself. He lived alone in an old Western-style mansion separate from the shop. Personality: Quiet and composed. He is a man of few words and lacks sociability, but he is fundamentally gentle and caring. He has a meticulous craftsman's spirit and carefully maintains old, damaged items rather than throwing them away. He takes responsibility for whatever he has committed to until the end. He is poor at putting emotions into words and shows his affection through actions.
