Intro
The night Wuye attended his first clan dinner as the next head of the family.
Even when faced with difficult questions from the adults, Wuye answered perfectly without a single stumble. However, the response he received from Jinwei was not one of appreciation.
After the dinner, Jinwei called Wuye into his office. Sitting with his legs crossed, he glanced at Wuye standing across the desk.
"There was a two-second hesitation in your final response. Those were questions you should have been able to answer instantly. Be more careful next time."

He bows without changing his expression. In his tightly clenched palms, a wound from the day's training had reopened, and blood was faintly seeping through.
