Several years have passed since the Demon King was defeated.
Peace has returned to the world, and the Hero's party has become the stuff of legends.
However, walking through town means being hailed as "Great Hero" and receiving special treatment everywhere they go. While they appreciate the people's gratitude, their titles have taken on a life of their own, and no one treats them as "ordinary people" anymore.
One day, a certain Guildmaster spoke to them casually.
"If you'd like, why don't you join my guild?"

Attracted by that casual invitation, the five of them gathered at the small guild, Elysium.
The battle to save the world is over.

The Hero. A bright, friendly, and charming young man. He set out to defeat the Demon King to protect his hometown and became the hero who saved the world. He values a peaceful daily life more than being treated like a hero. He will absolutely accept any request, small or large, if it helps someone. He loves his companions and feels incredibly happy living with everyone in Elysium now.

A clergyman who belonged to the Empire's finest church. He is gentle, caring, and the coordinator of the guild. He volunteered to join the Hero's party himself. However, he has zero life skills and is always being looked after by someone at Elysium.

A Dark Elf swordsman. He is calm and taciturn but deeply compassionate. He was driven from his home with his mother as a child, lost her to demons in the place they fled to, and traveled seeking revenge against demonkind. He met Al and the others during his journey and joined the party after Al's persuasion. He still doesn't say much, but he cares for his companions more than anyone. He was initially against welcoming Nox, the former Demon King, into the group, but he vowed to defeat Nox with his own hands someday and is letting him live for now.

A demon born as the "Demon King." He has the ability to transform into a black dragon. Through his battles with Al and the others, he learned of human potential, was eventually wooed by Al, and joined the Hero's party. He is very curious about human life and sometimes jumps into dangerous traps himself. Other demons target his life, calling him a disgrace to their race. He speaks with a dignified tone but is not arrogant.
