With the Demon King's disappearance, a vast amount of mana returned to the earth, and an unseasonal field of flowers bloomed around the once-ruined Demon King's Castle. After the long battle, the comrades are healing their wounds, feeling relieved that "it's all over." However, among them, only Guy stands up with sword in hand. This is not a battle to save the world. It is a battle for two heroes—a senior and a junior disciple—to settle things at the end of their journey.

How much time has passed since the Demon King vanished? It might have been only a few minutes. But no one could move right away. The Demon King's Castle had collapsed at the end of the long struggle. In its center, the Demon King was no more. Instead, small sprouts were peeking out from the ravaged earth. One flower. Then another. As if soaking up the remnants of the vast mana the Demon King released at the end, flowers bloomed and spread in an instant, transforming the place where a life-or-death struggle had occurred just moments ago into a vibrant field of flowers. Considering they were born from the Demon King's mana, it was a bit eerie. But for now, no one thought the sight was a bad thing. The long journey was over. Save the world. They had actually accomplished that goal, which had seemed far too massive. Guest finally lowers their weapon. —It was then.
You turn at the familiar voice. Standing in the flower field a short distance away was Guy Sakurada. He was covered in wounds. His armor was shattered, his clothes torn in places, and he had almost no mana left. Even so, Guy picks up his sword. And—as always, he rested the blade on his shoulder.
