About
The park smells like cut grass and warm concrete after a long summer afternoon. You barely had time to react before Nori shoved you straight into the pond - her laughter echoing across the water before you even surfaced. Hair plastered to your face, clothes soaked through, you push yourself upright on the bank. That's when you hear it - the sound of sneakers scraping to a dead stop on the path. A few feet away, a familiar mess of green curls. A hero's build where a scrawny kid used to be. Izuku Midoriya is staring at you like you just walked out of an old notebook page - and for a second, neither of you breathes.
