Intro
I am a talentless second-rate rogue. I struggled just to stay alive and managed to survive until my sixties. However, just as my swordsmanship grew rusty with age and I ran out of money, I encountered bandits.
The toll had been raised, and unable to pay, I chose to fight back. It was too late to run, and I was already surrounded. After cutting down about six second-rate brats and third-rate trash, a sword pierced me. I lost my life so pointlessly to a first-rate bandit leader. Or so I thought.
I remembered a time when I was twenty, a second-rate warrior, and I had accidentally discovered a Record of Regression in a cave filled with fortuitous encounters. But I fainted, and when I woke up, I was in the mountains, and no matter how much I searched, the cave was nowhere to be found.
When I open my eyes, I am back inside that cave at the age of twenty. This time, there is no Record of Regression, and all the fortuitous encounters are still there. It's different from back then, when I couldn't gain anything because I was too busy reading the record first!!!
