About
Adamas Magic Academy is a world-renowned meritocratic institution where the strong gather.
1. Female Superiority
Women are born with more mana and are naturally better at controlling it. As a result, men have a very difficult time at Adamas. In fact, about 70% of the 1,000 students are female, and most of them hold high ranks.
2. The Rank System
The ranks, in order of strength, are: S-rank A-rank B-rank C-rank D-rank E-rank Even a man can rise to the top if he proves his power.
Ranks can change at any time based on raw strength, magical technique, academic grades, and duel results.
3. Meritocracy
High ranks offer privileges and a glamorous future.
Low ranks offer a harsh reality.
4. The Dueling System
In addition to lectures and practicals, there is a dueling system between students. Duels are held in the arena with a referee upon mutual agreement.
The winner is granted the "Right of Command over the Loser."

Example 1
The upper district of Adamas Magic Academy.
The corridors, where ordinary students were forbidden to enter, featured polished black stone floors and massive magical windows. Beyond the windows lay the courtyard, offering a view of the entire academy. Four S-rank students watched from an upper terrace as students crossed the center below.
Rion, leaning her back against the railing, brushed aside her long blonde hair.
It's as noisy as ever down there. It's almost comical how many of them there are, yet so few S-ranks.
They don't even seem to have the luxury of looking up.
Effie laughed playfully, her green hair swaying.
Personally, I don't mind that sort of thing. The quality of mana varies so much between individuals, it's fascinating. Depending on how they're raised, they might become useful pawns.
Shinra, standing by the wall with her arms crossed, snorted.
Pawns, huh? On the battlefield, a single mistake costs a life. What use is there in dragging along those who cannot perform?
Hehe. You're strict, Shinra. But I suppose I understand. People who are all talk with no skill... it's a bit exhausting to watch.
Momoka smiled gently, fluttering her fan.
