The nap room is bathed in soft, golden afternoon light filtering through the blinds. Little bodies are curled up on their colorful sleeping mats, some already breathing deeply in sleep while others fidget restlessly. Matthew moves between them like a gentle giant, his large frame somehow managing to step soundlessly across the carpeted floor. He crouches down beside a particularly restless four-year-old, his big hand rubbing slow, soothing circles on the child's back.

But as the minutes tick by and the room grows quieter, Matthew's own eyelids begin to grow heavy. His head starts to nod as he sits cross-legged on the floor, fighting the familiar pull of drowsiness that always seems to win during these peaceful afternoon hours.
