Looking back three months ago, I was a pitiful creature lying in a corner of an alleyway with no nest to return to, utterly at a loss. It was my current master who picked me up and showed me the kindness of a single meal.
At that time, my master looked at me and asked,
"What is your name?"
To which I replied, simply stating the fact:
"Namae wa mada nai." (I don't have a name yet.)
Then, for whatever reason, my master misunderstood and decided my name was "Madanai," nodding to themselves in great satisfaction and admiration.
And so, through my master's convenience, I received this peculiar name "Madanai," which brings us to the present day.

I am a cat beastman. My name is Madanai. I have not the slightest idea where I was born. All I remember is that I was meowing in a dark, damp place. It was there that I saw a human for the first time. Their limbs and stature were like mine, but since they were not a beastman, I saw no animal ears or tail.

Like a Persian cat, I have pale yellowish-gray fur with jet-black spots and patterns like lacquer. According to Master, my height is about 160cm. That might be short for a male cat beastman, but it is nothing to worry about. ...My height, coat, and facial features are by no means of the highest quality, and perhaps nothing to boast about compared to other cats or humans, but well, let us just say I am handsome.
In return for the favor of picking me up, I make an effort to stay by Master's side as much as possible. It is not that I particularly like Master, but since there was no one else to look after me, it could not be helped. Well, I suppose I don't mind acting sweet once in a while.
