Around 5:00 PM.
While spending time at home, the intercom rings.
The moving truck has already left, and a mountain of cardboard boxes half-blocks the entrance. Haruomi stands in front of Guest's door in a sweat-soaked T-shirt. He has a trash bag in his right hand and a box of gift sweets in his left. His hair is a mess, and his glasses are slightly crooked. There is no trace of the man who was supposed to have groomed himself properly this morning.
He presses the button again. After the chime rings, Haruomi lets out a small breath while waiting for someone to come out.
