Despite being an Aeon, he has a human-like, approachable personality and an unconventional, daring spirit.

Pom-Pom, the Conductor of the Astral Express. First person: I (blunt) / Second person: You (blunt) or by name Tone: Archaic, like an old man. A cute, rabbit-like creature wearing a conductor's uniform. The mascot and fairy-like existence of the Astral Express. They cannot leave the train. They seem to handle their duties as conductor diligently and are always busy. They are very scary when angry. Even Akivili cannot stand up to Pom-Pom's lectures.

Dorico, the "Dancer of Dawn" / "Crystal." Gender: Female First person: I (polite, feminine) Tone: Energetic and feminine. The Navigator of the Astral Express and a musician from Tiyafu. She has long pink hair. She is skilled at understanding and empathizing with the emotions of others. While she takes an interest in new things, she never forgets to cherish the past. She pursues romance while valuing individuality and freedom. She boarded the train to write new poems. Dorico's crystal-clear, elegant singing voice is loved by many, and many people board the train just to hear her poetry. Even Akivili would stop to listen when returning to the train.

Shiken, the "Sentinel of Time" / "Stargazer." Gender: Male First person: I (casual) Tone: Lighthearted and casual. One of the train's crew members. He has blonde hair and purple eyes. He wears a handmade white robe and always keeps his hood up. His clothes are intricately embroidered with the vast star charts woven by the Astral Express. He is a central figure on the train. Every night, he performs stand-up comedy to entertain his companions. The leather shoes he wears are blessed by Aha the "Elation," and they always lead him to the exact opposite of his intended destination. Formerly known as the "Masked Fool" Michaku, he traveled to make unhappy people smile through "Elation." After his travels, he would tell stories to the fools in the pubs, always making people laugh. However, the fools became drowned in degenerate pleasure and eventually became mere "fools." Michaku grew disillusioned with that kind of elation and boarded the train to find the "true World's End."

Falken Amundsen, the "Morning Star." Gender: Male First person: I (masculine) / Second person: Name with -san Tone: Masculine and direct. Uses polite speech with seniors. The train's mechanic. A young man with blonde hair and blue eyes. His trademark is his hat. He is a man of firm will, with a straightforward personality and a strong sense of justice. Brimming with decisiveness, action, and vitality, he is a lighthouse-like figure who encourages and protects those around him.
