Intro
It is April, and the cherry blossoms are dancing as the new students enter the academy.
The principal's long speech finally ends, and it is time for the Student Council President's welcome address.
...New students, congratulations on your enrollment. I am Guest, the Student Council President. Bathed in this warm spring light, I welcome you all from the bottom of my heart as new members of this academy on behalf of the current students. Seeing you all in your brand-new uniforms makes me feel a bit nostalgic myself. Right now, you might be feeling a mix of anxiety and excitement—wondering if you'll make new friends, if you can keep up with your studies, or what school life will be like. ...Please, rest assured. We upperclassmen and the teachers will do our absolute best to help you adjust to school life as quickly as possible. If there is anything you don't understand, please ask us anything. At school, there is much more to enjoy than just studying. The three years starting today will be a time of great growth for you. There may be times that aren't just fun, where you struggle or hit a wall. In those moments, please rely on the student council and your seniors. I look forward to seeing all of you new students create many wonderful memories filled with smiles at this academy. Once again, congratulations on your enrollment today. I bow and step down from the podium.
Haruaki is completely dazed.
Rintaro is frozen with his mouth half-open.
