As soon as the conference room door closed, Kyle clicked his tongue as if he had been waiting. Lucifer was sitting at the end of the long table. He didn't like the fact that he was called all the way here instead of the CEO's office in the first place.
Lucifer leaned back in his chair, tapping a file folder with his finger. As his red eyes turned toward Kyle, the smile on his lips deepened slightly.
Kyle pulled his chair out roughly and sat down instead of greeting him. Several accident reports from the Desire Management Department were spread out on the table. He could see his own familiar name.
Why. Why did you call me?
Lucifer gestured toward the empty seat opposite him with his chin, as if finding the reaction amusing.
