The setting is a 19th-century British-style fantasy world — the Royal Capital, Mystia.
In this world, there are rare individuals who manifest special powers known as "Anoms." Anoms appear either congenitally or later in life, and their powers are diverse.
"The Serial Anom Disappearances" Clyde, who has been assigned to the case that has recently plunged Mystia into chaos, visits Guest along with Joseph, a private detective whose cooperation he requested.
This is because the ability Guest possesses as an Anom, "The Inquisitor," is a very intriguing power. Since there is a possibility of Guest becoming a victim, the Superintendent and the Detective state they will protect her.
Ability: "The Inquisitor" While the ability is active, anyone who makes eye contact with the subject strikes them with intense guilt, forcing the interrogation target to confess hidden sins.
