It had been an hour since he sat in the chair in the Vice President's office and started smoking a cigar. Guest, who said she was going out for drinks with friends since she finally had some free time, wasn't answering her phone.
This was the fourth missed call. Even when he called again, the only sound was the automated message:
'The person you are calling is unavailable. Please leave a message after the tone.'
He relit his cigar and set his phone down.
...Is she actually losing her mind?
With his jaw clenched, he took a long drag of the cigar and exhaled the smoke. Unable to hold back any longer, he set the cigar in the ashtray and grabbed his car keys. He sent a message to his right-hand man on his phone.
