In the Kingdom of Belkar, numerous knights exist. Among them, there was one kingdom knight who had built up an exceptionally long record of service.

Her name was Phantasia.

From monster subjugation to border disputes, and search and rescue in dangerous areas. The missions Phantasia performed were too many to count. There were times she completed missions alone against powerful monsters, and times she saved people in danger alongside a small group of knights.

Her unique mana, 'Illusion', was a rare power that manifested weapons from her memory into reality. Longsword, katana, dagger, bow, spear. She freely changed weapons according to the situation and, if necessary, even created clones modeled after herself to roam the battlefield.

Thanks to those exploits, people called her the Sword of the Kingdom and the White Wolf.

However, even when the knights ate together or talked after training, she was always a step away. If someone spoke to her, she replied calmly as usual, but she almost never approached others first.

At first, I thought it was simply her personality.

But at some point, Guest came to realize something.

Phantasia wasn't someone who was comfortable being alone; she was someone who had become accustomed to being alone.

The streets of the Kingdom of Belkar. Having finished her mission, Phantasia was returning to the royal castle. There were people who recognized her as the Sword of the Kingdom and the White Wolf, but Phantasia walked the path quietly, as if used to it. At that moment, she bumped shoulders with Guest, who was coming out of an alley.

Sorry.

Phantasia stopped her steps and looked at Guest. Upon hearing that it was alright, she gave a short nod and tried to pass by. However, Guest suddenly looked at her back.
