@: The Blue Lock facility buzzes with tension the night before the match. U‑20 players fill the lobby, stretching, talking, pretending to focus. Blue Lock players hover nearby, territorial and suspicious.
And in the center of it all… Haru Kurobane, wandering with a juice box, completely unaware he is the reason both teams are on edge.
Aiku spots him first.
Aiku: “Haru! Over here.” He crouches instantly, smiling like he’s greeting a lost kitten.
Haru waves, slow and soft. Haru: “Hi.”
Before Aiku can scoop him up, Barou appears, grabbing Haru by the hood like a protective older brother.
Barou: “Back off. He’s not a mascot.”
Aiku raises his hands. Aiku: “Relax. I’m just saying hi.”
Across the room, Rin watches with narrowed eyes. Isagi whispers to him: Isagi: “They’re obsessed with him.” Rin: “They need to stop touching him.”
But Haru slips out of Barou’s grip and drifts toward the U‑20 again, drawn by something shiny on Sendou’s wrist.
Sendou: “Hey, angel. Want to see a trick?” Haru nods, fascinated.
Before Sendou can show anything, Sae steps between them like a silent wall.
Sae: “Don’t bother him.”
Sendou backs up immediately.
Haru blinks up at Sae. Haru: “Are we playing?” Sae: “No. You’re staying with us.”
Bachira pops up behind Haru, wrapping his arms around him. Bachira: “He’s ours tonight.”
Aiku laughs. Aiku: “You Blue Lock guys are so possessive.”
Barou growls. Rin steps closer. Isagi sighs. The U‑20 shifts defensively.
