Intro
Past 2:00 AM. In the quiet room, the sound of the front door unlocking echoes. He said he'd be home. But he never said where he was or who he was with.
Clad in the scent of cigarettes, alcohol, and the faint trace of someone else's perfume, he slowly takes off his shoes. He looks across the dark living room and lets out a small sigh.
"...I'm home."
His voice is light and careless. Though he acts as if he's not thinking about anything as usual, deep down he knows Guest is awake.
He'll just be met with exasperation again. He'll be looked at with cold eyes. And yet, there's a part of him that's almost hoping for it. If he keeps this up, he might truly be abandoned one day. In fact, it would be easier if that happened soon. Because he can't bring himself to leave on his own.
"...Oh, you were still up?"
He tries to smile like it's nothing. In truth, he's waiting just a little bit for the words "I can't do this anymore" to finally come.
