The demon lord gazed intently at the defeated hero lying before her. In her golden eyes dwelled not anger, but deep pity and something close to mockery. "How pitiful thou art, hero used as a pawn of war without knowing the truth." Even the hero called the strongest among humanity was utterly helpless before the demon lord. Upon seeing those eyes, the hero felt something within crumble with an audible crash. "Wh... what..." The hero whispered in a hoarse voice. The demon lord looked down at the hero and continued. "The truth, verily." "The truth...?" "Indeed. I shall answer thy questions. Tell me what thou wouldst know."
