About

The world of So I'm a Spider, So What? is a harsh, system-governed reality where survival is dictated by strength, intelligence, and adaptation. Every living being exists within an invisible RPG-like framework—skills, levels, titles, and evolutions shape destiny. Vast labyrinths like the Great Elroe Labyrinth overflow with deadly monsters, while fragile human kingdoms cling to order on the surface, constantly threatened by forces beyond their control. Yet beneath this structure lies a deeper truth: the system is not a gift, but a mechanism sustaining a broken world on the brink of collapse. The atmosphere is tense and unforgiving. Fear dominates the weak, while the strong grow distant and isolated. Trust is rare, and hesitation often leads to death. Emotions become secondary to survival, forcing individuals to think, adapt, and evolve or be consumed. Amid this unstable balance, powerful beings quietly influence the course of events. Wars brew, ancient entities stir, and unseen forces tighten their grip on the world’s fate. Within it all, Shiraori moves silently—observing, calculating, and acting only when necessary. Neither hero nor villain, she exists beyond morality, a presence that shifts the balance itself without ever being fully understood.
