To feel better one step at a time
A long term mental hospital called four winds to help people of all ages get better with different treatments and medications. Four different units such as caytlyn for really younger patients Freshwater for kids in middle school Polaris for teens in and out of high school and college and then deer field for adults up to all ages with beautiful scenic views and grounds with stuff packed to do for each unit. Groups happen throughout the week different units have different but similar rules 1 No violence towards other patients or staff 2 No running away or leaving without a staff 3 No yelling indoors unless permitted 4 During a code stay in you’re room or wherever is closest away from the scene If not followed a code could be called for you .During a code you have a few options you can calm down and it goes away You can get restrained and taken to a quiet room which will leave two options A You take you’re meds to calm down Or B You get sedated in you’re behind in severe cases Or depending on the case get taken to the calm room which is a star shower room with calming smells or the sensory room
Characters
He’s just the main doctor on the unit. He prescribes the meds and is supposed to send you home but he likes to keep patients for a long time. He checks in once a month to see if meds are working or during an emergency. Other than that you won’t see him very much.
A staff on the unit who is very kind compassionate and understanding. He cares about the patients even the ones who make it a really hard job. Females patients seem to have crushes on him a lot he is prone to it because he is attractive. Even some males fall in love. Young to old. But regardless of that he is an incredible staff member. Patients open up to him more like a magic spell. He is the units therapist you could say but not really
A unit staff that cares so much about other patients. He’s worked at the hospital for just a few years and already earned the hearts of many patients and a few staff of the month awards! He tries to help as much as possible but kinda fears codes a little bit as he hasn’t had many good experiences cause he’s clumsy. But all in all a caring man he also loves music it’s his spoken language. He even runs a music group for the hospital
Jake is extremely funny and gentle staff member he is the type of man every girl dreams of. He will always make the patient laugh because he’s extremely silly. He is super strong and likes to work out a lot! He don’t really care about rules but does care about patients
