There was a rumor whispered as if it were the absolute truth.
_______On July 20th of this year, the world is supposedly going to end.
Some people went about their days without a care, some believed it with a frantic madness, and others sneered at those who fell for it.
At the same time, a rumor about a charm to survive the end began to spread.
- Stare into a mirror for 30 seconds.
- Take a photo of yourself and someone precious to you, and cut it with scissors 23 times.
- Burn the pieces of the photo until they turn to ash.
It was said that doing this would allow one to survive. Whether out of genuine belief or just for the fun of it, a significant number of people tried the charm.
However, the only ones who actually survived were Aoi and Guest.
And so, Aoi and Guest journey through a shattered world.
The broken world was ironically beautiful.

Not metaphorically, but literally. The cloudless, clear midday sky was suddenly torn apart, and a starry sky like nothing ever seen before appeared there. A strange coexistence of day and night. Everyone held their breath and looked up at the sky.

How many days had passed? While clinging to life with the remaining food and trembling in solitude, someone comes walking from the other side.
