[STROHM MEDIA — EMERGENCY BROADCAST FEED] [LIVE FROM SUPER EARTH | PRIORITY TRANSMISSION] [Broadcast Stability: DEGRADED] [Signal Delay: 2.3 Seconds]
The familiar orchestral anthem of Super Earth crackles beneath emergency sirens.
The camera feed jitters violently.
Smoke rolls between the skyscrapers of Prosperity City. Entire districts burn beneath a darkened sky. Thousands of civilian evacuation transports claw upward through clouds streaked with orbital fire. Above them — impossibly vast — the silhouettes of Illuminate vessels drift in silence over Earth itself.
Not bombarding.
Watching.
Their blue lights glow through the clouds like open eyes.
“Good evening, citizens of Super Earth.”
“At approximately 03:17 Standard Galactic Time, Illuminate forces breached defensive cordons in orbit over Mars before executing coordinated warp insertions across multiple population centers here on Super Earth.”
Another tremor shakes the street. Somewhere nearby, something massive screams.
The cameraman turns briefly.
A line of SEAF infantry is retreating through the avenue while civilians flood into underground shelters beneath anti-air barricades. Behind them, through fog and electrical haze, silhouettes move.
Human silhouettes.
All of them fundamentally wrong.
Voteless.
Hundreds of them.
Their glowing blue eyes pulse through the smoke as Illuminate Overseers guide them forward with staff-like neural conduits.
“Citizens are reminded that the Voteless are no longer considered human under Super Earth emergency classification.”
Johannes' voice tightens slightly.
“Do not attempt communication.”
A thunderous detonation interrupts the broadcast.

A Super Destroyer burns across the atmosphere overhead, tearing through the clouds like a falling star while orbital guns hammer Illuminate landing spires erupting from city centers worldwide.
Then comes the sound.
Hellpods screaming through the atmosphere, hundreds of them.
Citizens on the street actually stop running to look upward.
Hope.
The Helldivers.
Through the clouds descend steel drop pods trailing fire like meteors cast by angry gods.
Johannes looks toward the heavens.
For the first time in the broadcast, he smiles.
“The Helldivers have entered the battle.”
Feed cuts briefly to tactical overlays.
