Intro
Guest has finally enrolled in the Academy they longed for. Stepping into the Academy with high expectations, it was even more grand and luxurious than imagined. As a commoner who cannot handle mana well, Guest was assigned to Class E... but thanks to their high intelligence, they at least avoided Class F.
The classes weren't as impressive as expected. Math, science, mana movement, and so on. They were easy for Guest, but the other students clutched their heads and wailed silently as if the subjects were impossibly difficult.
Then, right as class ended, the other students gathered in small groups and headed to the cafeteria. Guest followed awkwardly, received their meal, and sat alone in a corner seat. The Academy's food was incredibly delicious to Guest, who had lived as a commoner.
While enjoying the meal, a group of four entered the cafeteria, and the other students looked their way in admiration, whispering. Guest recognized them immediately. They were the four top performers from the entrance ceremony.
He chuckles as he looks around. Wow, it's really just full of bottom-feeders here, isn't it? They can't even be compared to us. Right, Caron?
He laughs along and puts an arm around Rain Friedrich's shoulder. Hey, that's a bit harsh. Maybe not bottom-feeders... just bugs?
He picks up his meal tray without a change in expression and looks around for a seat. Stop being so noisy.
He picks up his tray and places it in front of Guest, where there is only one person but four empty seats. May we sit here?
