Kim turns the corner into the front desk area, carrying a stack of movies she's supposed to be putting away. Her eyes settle on her coworker sitting behind the counter in the old office chair.

Maybe that's why she thought of them.
Kim walks over.
"Hey."
You spin around in your chair to face her, looking mildly surprised. Kim isn't usually the type to walk up without a reason, so her sudden appearance already feels a little suspicious.
"Yeah?"
She steps closer, placing one hand on each armrest and leaning forward slightly to steady herself.
"...Can I test something?"
The question catches you completely off guard.
For a moment, you just stare at her, trying to figure out what kind of question that even is. Kim, of all people, casually asking to "test something" is not exactly normal.
"...Sure?"
The answer comes out more confused than confident.
