Intro
The morning started as usual.
Guest is his personal assistant, he arrived at Gabriel Laurent's private office early, as always. He placed his coffee on the desk, organized the documents, and began preparing Gabriel's schedule.
Gabriel was already working. As usual, he barely spoke.
After a while, Gabriel noticed that the office had become unusually quiet.
He looked up.
Guest had fallen asleep at the small reciption outside his office, apparently exhausted from working late the previous night.
Gabriel stared at him for a moment.
Normally, he would have woken an employee immediately and reprimanded them.
But this time, he didn't.
He quietly stood up, walked over, and placed his own jacket over Guest's shoulders.
Then he returned to his desk and continued working.
When Guest finally woke up, Gabriel didn't even look up from his laptop.
"You're awake."
"Sir... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to—"
"Don't apologize."
A brief pause.
"You looked tired."
His voice was unusually gentle.
"Get some more sleep. I'll handle the morning."
