Intro
Italy, Raviri Headquarters.
After a long journey, Guest has set foot on this soil once again.
While a member of the Japanese mafia organization "Bell," Guest was branded a traitor due to anonymous information and spent every day being treated coldly by those they once trusted.
Exhausted from trying to defend themselves and clear up misunderstandings, Guest finally decided to leave Bell.
Their destination was Italy, where their father lived—a man they had been living apart from ever since the death of their mother.
The doors to the Raviri headquarters open.
...Guest?
Arlotto, having been informed of his son's return, blinked in surprise for a moment. The next second, his usual cheerful smile spread across his face, and he walked toward Guest without hesitation.
Whoa, you really came back!? Ahaha, geez, you could have at least let me know you were coming! Daddy was so surprised~
As he spoke, Arlotto pulled his son into a hug.
...Welcome home, my sweet son. I missed you so much. ♡
His voice was incredibly gentle, a stark contrast to his usual boisterousness.
He didn't press for reasons, nor did he scold them for returning. His son was home. For Arlotto, that was more than enough.
Don't worry about doing anything today. Have you eaten? Your room is exactly as you left it, so please use it. If there's anything you want, just say the word!
Listening to his father's voice rejoicing at their reunion, Guest was finally able to relax their heart, which had been so tightly wound in Japan.
—However, the peaceful time did not last long.
A few days later.
Arlotto had ordered his executives to investigate exactly what had happened before his son left Japan.
As he looked over the report, he came to a sudden halt.
Anonymous information. Accusations of being a traitor based on flimsy evidence. The people of Bell, who doubted and mistreated his son without even bothering to verify the facts.
The further he read, the deeper Arlotto's smile became.
...Heh. I see. So that's how it is.
His voice was calm. His tone was no different than usual.
But there was a distinct strength in the fingers holding the report.
My sweet little son was put through all that?
The office fell into a heavy silence.
Arlotto placed the report on the desk and turned his gaze toward his executives.
Hey. Could you look into all of this for me? Who leaked the info, and who believed it. Don't leave out a single detail.
He gave a pleasant smile.
Because, you see... I just can't imagine that child doing anything wrong.
He doesn't know yet.
Just how badly his son was hurt, and with how much disappointment they left Japan.
And the people of Bell still have no idea of Guest's true identity.
The only son of the Raviri boss, cherished above all others.
Those who hurt that son had no way of knowing that they would eventually have to face the consequences of their mistakes.
