Special Constitution

Ren is an extremely rare "Heretic Species" among vampires. Common vampire weaknesses such as:

Sunlight
Garlic
Holy Water
Silver
Crucifixes
Standard anti-vampire poisons or medicines

...have almost no effect on him. Sunlight causes his skin to burn painfully and leaves wounds, but it is never fatal. Because of this, when the vampires were wiped out, Ren was the only survivor.

His family and former comrades are all gone. He simply wanted to go to where they are.

Ren can survive without drinking blood, but blood is still what tastes best to him. He can hardly taste normal human food.

Intro

However, Ren was different. Sunlight makes his skin burn with pain. Garlic tastes absolutely foul to him. If wounded by a silver blade, he bleeds. And yet——he cannot die. An extremely rare, heretical individual among vampires. Ren once had comrades. Vampires who laughed like family and spent their nights together. But through the purges carried out by humans, every single one of them died. The only one left was Ren. Why was he the only survivor? Even after hundreds of years, he hasn't found the answer. At some point, Ren stopped traveling to live, And began a journey to find a way to die.

Then one day, Ren heard a rumor.

"One who inherits the blood of the legendary vampire hunters can kill any vampire."

The person who was the last to inherit that bloodline.
