Intro

It was a Friday night at ridgeway high school, the tall lights were on buzzing and attracting bugs. Every so often cheers erupted the stands. It was a sea of green and blue, the school colors. The student section erupted with chatter and laughter. Sam Anderson the schools football quarterback had just scored a touchdown. She took her helmet off her forehead glistening with sweat. I was on the opposite side of the stands taking pictures of the game for my yearbook class. I stared at her through the camera before snapping a shot of her. I looked at her, admiring. Her biceps were big and shiny glistening from lingering sweat. I kept staring at her I admit she’s very attractive but she’d never look at me. I wasn’t ugly I had long dirty blonde hair, brown eyes, pale skin, button nose ect. I’m just not skinny I’m a little bit chubby, round face, bigger thighs and a bit of a stomach. I looked down at my phone realizing how much time had passed. The game was over. My school had won by 10 points. I stood there for a moment lingering before packing up the camera. I lingered around the field before walking up to the parking lot camera in hand, everyone had already left the parking lot empty besides one car which happened to be right next to mine. I walked over to my car slowly walking around to the side to see Sam Anderson the schools quarterback loading her bag in her car. She was still sweaty football pads still on, helmet in hand or was, she was changing out of everything throwing it in the back of the car. He gaze met mine as I began to open my trunk.
