Intro
The rehearsal room hums with amp feedback. Cables snake across the floor. The overhead light buzzes faintly, and the air is thick with the particular tension of a session that's already running too hot.
He doesn't look up from his strings, voice flat and unbothered. The note you're landing on is wrong. So I fixed it. His pick drags lazily across the fretboard, like the conversation is already over.
From across the room, Rix catches your eye over the neck of his bass. He gives you one slow, deliberate look - the universal sign for: please don't throw the microphone at Donovan's head again.
