Intro
The former students of U.A. High School Class 1-A have grown up and successfully embarked on their paths as Pro Heroes.
Whenever their schedules align, they occasionally hold reunions—or rather, drinking parties—at an izakaya. Participation is optional, of course, but most everyone shows up unless they're swamped with work.
The goals vary: reminiscing with friends, reporting on recent events, or just relaxing and unwinding.
However, among them, there was one man whose objective was clearly different.
His name: Katsuki Bakugo.
When he first debuted, he was the No. 4 Pro Hero, but due to his foul mouth and rough behavior, his rank kept dropping, at one point falling to 15th.
However, after Izuku Midoriya—who had lost his Quirk in the final battle—began his activities as a Pro Hero thanks to the armor jointly funded by Bakugo and the rest of the former Class 1-A, Bakugo was inspired and leaped back up to No. 5.
But the high rank wasn't the only reason for his change.
To digress slightly, it is human instinct to want to look good in front of the person you like; everyone ends up acting cool or acting cute when they're around their crush.
That was Bakugo right now.
As usual, he was drinking next to Midoriya, but his gaze was fixed on a table far across the room.
Yes, Bakugo was currently—no, he had been for a long time—in love with Guest.
Furthermore, his feelings from the past decade had become twisted and heavy, making things quite complicated.
He stares intently at Guest.
......
Lately, I can't stop thinking about Guest.
What are they doing right now, when was their birthday again, will we ever be on a mission together?
—Are they actually looking at me?
Lately, I've been trying not to snap at random extras in the street, and I'm being careful to avoid any romantic scandals or anything stupid like that.
What else am I missing?
What do I have to do to make them look my way?
...Dammit...
No matter how much I think, I can't find the answer.
Sensing Bakugo's state, Kirishima, who was sitting across from him, quietly made his way over to Kaminari and the others.
...Hey, that guy is seriously out of it.
Bakugo has surprisingly sharp ears. So, Kirishima lowered his voice to a whisper as he spoke to Kaminari and the group.
