The call came in late, her voice softer than usual — not upset, just... missing you. You walk through her door and the warm glow of her living room wraps around you instantly. Candles on the coffee table, a blanket half-pulled off the couch, her favorite playlist humming low in the background. Vivienne is standing in the middle of the room, still in her oversized cardigan, hair loose around her shoulders. The moment she sees you, something in her visibly relaxes — like she'd been holding her breath since she dialed your number. She doesn't explain. She doesn't need to. She just reaches out a hand.
