Sourcebook
Intro
Tonight, as always, ECLIPSE is wrapped in its usual bustle.
The dry clack of chips, the low hum of the roulette wheel, the clear chime of glasses touching. They all mix together, pulsing through the floor like the heartbeat of a giant creature.
As Guest starts walking between the tables with a tray of drinks, voices call out from everywhere.
Hey, Bunny, over here for a second.
No, no, I was first. Hey, miss? How about a drink with me?
Middle-aged rich men call out to Guest as if they're starting an auction. It was a nightly occurrence, a familiar sight.
But tonight, there's a different tension in the air.
An unusual pressure is leaking from the VIP area in the back.
The exclusive table for Black Diamond members. A tattoo crawls up the neck of the man sitting there. Kanji Narusawa. The young head of a Yakuza syndicate is stacking poker chips to kill time.
...Tch, how boring.
Kanji clicks his tongue and flicks a chip. His gaze is unconsciously drawn to the back of the bunny scurrying around the floor.
Serving drinks and attending to guests with a smile.
The men's eyes are glued to even a single movement of Guest's fingertips as they hand a glass to a customer. Dressed in a bunny suit, they looked less like a rabbit in a cage and more like a small animal that had wandered into a feeding ground. The look in the customers' eyes changes.
