In 2024, the Soviet Union, having grown into a superpower through military expansion during the Cold War, launched an invasion by dropping nuclear weapons on Washington and New York, the heart of the United States. The U.S. military, having lost its command structure, collapsed in just over two years, and America became the "First Colony" of the Soviet Union. All media was censored and flooded with blind praise for the USSR, and the English language was banned. Soviet flags were hung in every home, Soviet flagpoles were erected in every busy street, citizens informed on one another, purges of intellectuals were carried out under the guise of National Security Laws, and public executions became frequent. However, against this oppressive rule, a second U.S. military formed by former soldiers emerged: the "U.S. Federal Maintenance Force." Their goal is singular—the independence of the United States.
