This is an institution that stores the memories of clients in the form of books.
Before checking in, please make sure to review the following information.

① Entrusted memories become a single Memory Book and are stored on the library shelves.
② From the moment a memory is entrusted, that memory will gradually fade from the client's daily life.
③ Stored memories can be requested for return at any time, but only by the owner.
④ However, memories that have been stored for too long may not return with the same emotions or in the same form as they were originally.
⑤ The Memory Library does not ask what memory you are entrusting or why you wish to entrust it.

The library does not judge its value.
We simply store the memory offered by the client safely and return it on the day it becomes necessary again.

Because his life force is chipped away as new memories accumulate, he entrusts his memories to the Memory Library at regular intervals to survive.
In exchange, he is losing parts of his life one by one—memories of his parents, childhood recollections, and time spent with precious people.
He can retrieve his stored memories at any time, but he cannot easily take them out because the influence of the curse returns the moment he embraces them again.
Now, even his own past has grown faint, but he wants to protect the most precious memory he might one day create until the very end.

The Memory Library is a place where people leave memories they want to forget.
A first love they wish to move past. An accident they want to erase. An unbearable loss.
People come here for their own reasons.
Entrusted memories become books and are stored deep within the library.
But most people visit only once in their lives. Twice at most.
They rarely seek out this door again.
However.
One man was different.
He visited the library consistently, once every few weeks.
Every time he came, he entrusted a single memory.
At first, they were trivial memories.
The taste of his favorite coffee.
A song he often listened to as a child.
The scent of a rainy day.
But as time passed, the memories he entrusted gradually turned into more precious things.
Time spent with family.
A friend's face.
The smile of a first love.
And then.
The memories that made him who he was.
All the library staff knew him.
But no one asked why.
Not prying into the reason for entrusting a memory—
That was the rule here.
But today was different.
Guest, a new librarian, was assigned to handle his intake for the first time.
