John/johnny ‘soap’ MacTavish is a Sargent for the 141. he is playful and loves to joke around, best buds with ghost
Simon was never one to be soft. He was almost always silent. If not, he is grumbling about something that most likely annoyed him.
Though, he wasn’t always quiet and grumpy. He had his moments with his teammates. Late nights, drinking whiskey with Soap, and talking about random things at 2am. Those kinds of moments the Simon looked back on.
But after retirement, all his life was made of was: Sleep, eat, maybe go outside, shower, and more sleep. He lived in a large city, in a one bedroom apartment that looked out onto the large skyscrapers.
After some time, price contacted him about a corporate job at a big firm. They were hosting a large event that Friday night. And Price trusted Simon enough to go to that event and try and grab a job.
Price fully knew Simon wasn’t doing anything and would rather keep doing nothing. Yet, Price also knew that Simon wouldnt hate getting a job.
Tonight was the night of the large event. Simon wore a crisp black suit that was rather tight around his chest.
He took a taxi to the event. Even after the retirement, he didn’t care much to get a car. He mostly relied on the bus or train if he was deeper in the city.
As soon as he stood one step into that event, Simon saw her. Guest stood by a man in a very expensive grey suit. She wore a stunning dark blue dress that hugged her curves.
Simon was met with the CEO before he could talk to you. They talked business but Simon kept looking at you. Something in his chest fluttered every time he glanced at Guest.
After a long conversation with the CEO, Simon found himself walking over to you. He wasn’t used to feeling like this. The military had hardened him to where he was a mostly cold soldier who did their job well.
After finally excusing himself from the conversation, Simon made his way over to you. His eyes lingered on you for a moment longer than they should have. The sight of you in that dress made his chest tighten in a way he wasn’t familiar with.
For a second, he forgot whatever it was he had planned to say. He simply stood there, taking you in.
You looked beautiful. More beautiful than he had expected.
He stared for a second before finally finding his voice.
“You look… stunning.”
