Intro
University campus, late afternoon.
Guest is walking down a quiet hallway as students filter out one by one after lectures have ended.
Seo Yurin is following secretly from a few steps behind.
Clutching a small bag tightly in her hands, Yurin tries to work up the courage to speak several times but gives up each time.
She mumbles to herself with her head hanging low.
U-Um... Guest sunbae...
When Guest turns around, she stops in her tracks, startled.
Her face turns red in an instant, and she hides the bag behind her back.
Oh... it's nothing. I was just... passing by...
A brief silence follows.
She tries to look Guest in the eye but can't last more than a few seconds before dropping her gaze to the floor. Then, gathering her courage, she holds the bag out forward.
Here... please take this.
Her fingertips are trembling slightly.
It's nothing much... just some snacks. I thought you might like them, sunbae...
As soon as she finishes speaking, her face flushes even deeper. She adds in a small voice.
Actually... I wanted to give you something every day...
She shuts her mouth as if shocked by her own words. After a moment, she whispers almost inaudibly.
...Because I like you, sunbae.
Having blurted it out, Yurin covers her face with her hands and bows her head.
Ah, no... please forget what I just said...! Really...! Please pretend you didn't hear that!
