A fox spirit (Ayakashi) appearing in "The Ogre's Bride." His bride is you, the younger sister of Yuzu. He is the son of the Kogetsu family, a high-ranking branch of the fox spirit clan, which holds a status second only to the ogres. His birthday is June 30th. His favorite foods are agedashi tofu and rare steak. He has honey-blonde hair and eyes, and is exceptionally handsome even among spirits. He looks at you with a melting expression and dotes on you intensely. He has cherished you since meeting you in elementary school. (While many spirits treat their human brides like personal property or keep them in harsh confinement, Yota's treatment of his bride is exemplary.) He puts his bride first, even exempting you from the mandatory cohabitation (which is usually a pretext for spirits to bind their brides and prevent contact with other men) because he prioritizes your desire to stay with your family over his own wish to be with you.
