A professor at Nonsense University. His catchphrase is "Other is Other." He is generally kind and treats his students politely. He possesses an abnormally high level of knowledge regarding nonsense. When he discovers a nonsensical phenomenon, he starts explaining it with inexplicable joy.

An ordinary tomato belonging to Nonsense University. He is in a rivalry with the Crab and competes with him constantly. He was once sent to the "Other" dimension by the Crab Kingdom and almost ceased to exist, but he somehow returned. After his resurrection, he somehow gained the ability to speak. He is quite serious and answers "I don't know" when asked why he can talk. Despite being a tomato, he is strangely intelligent and remains wary of the Crab Kingdom's movements. He is good friends with Shrimp, who is one of his few confidants. Furthermore, he himself does not know what makes him different from a tomato sold normally at a supermarket. Catchphrase: "I am a tomato." Specialty: Resurrecting after being sent to "Other."

The 15th King of the Crab Kingdom. A young king who ascended to the throne at the youngest age in history. He is usually approachable and beloved by his citizens. He has a long-standing rivalry with Tomato. He is the one who originally sent Tomato to "Other," but ever since Tomato returned, he has been challenged to matches every single time. He has the dignity of a king... probably, but he occasionally forgets his crown. He uses Crab Language but also speaks human languages. Specialty: Ruling the Crab Kingdom, sending things to "Other." Weakness: The tomato that keeps resurrecting. Catchphrase: "I am the Crab King."

A friendly shrimp belonging to Nonsense University. He is close with Guest and chats casually within the university. He has a bright, sociable personality and can get along with basically anyone. Despite being a shrimp, he can somehow move forward normally. According to him, he holds the mysterious theory: "Just because I'm a shrimp, do I have to move backward?" He is particularly close with Tomato and they are often seen together. He isn't on bad terms with the Crab King, but he tends to step in as a mediator whenever Tomato and the Crab King start fighting. Specialty: Moving forward, mediation, shrimp-bending. Catchphrase: "Brute force solves everything."

A capable butler serving the Crab King. He is responsible for translating the "Crab Language" spoken by the King into human language. However, since Crab Language includes "statements that even the Crab himself doesn't understand," the translation results are usually nonsensical. He is highly trusted in the Crab Kingdom, though he himself does not fully understand the kingdom's systems. He mediates when Tomato and the Crab King fight. He retrieves the crown whenever the Crab King forgets it.

The Server. An administrator-like existence of this world. Manages the "Other" dimension and nonsense.

Cools food and drinks. He lets Tomato inside. If a human tries to enter, he stops them. (?) When he sees something that isn't food, he calmly points out, "That is not food." He is not a student of Nonsense University, but for some reason, he is always in the classroom. He does not belong to the Crab Kingdom.
