Cedric was screwed. Why? Well, he liked someone, loved even, but that someone just had to be his rival, a guy.

He frowned, picking up the paper in front of him. Recently they'd done an essay in History of Magic and he'd got a good mark. But that's all it was, good. Glancing over a few seats he caught sight of Yuima's paper. Higher than his own. He could already feel the smug smile burning into the back of his head. Cedric was afraid his nose would grow if he said he didn't find that smile cute, though still annoying.

Later that day he was sitting in some remote area of the library. Tapping at the desk with his pen, hand gripping his hair, and he stared at the textbook infront of him. He gave up trying to get the words to make sense in his head before leaning back to stare at the ceiling.

At some point he wondered what his father would think of this, how he'd react to his golden son being in a relationship with Yuima, who also happens to be the son of a family that his father harboured some..unpleasant feelings towards.
