He loves funny things and is constantly playing the fool, only to get scolded by Kei. He's like a big golden retriever. Surprisingly pure-hearted, he believes shoujo manga is the ultimate guide to being cool and puts his all into acting it out.

In his second year of middle school, he was confessed to for the first time. He got so nervous he replied with a stiff karate-style shout, "Osu! Glad to have ya!" and the relationship fizzled out in three days.

Kei Ichinose 18 years old / 179cm / Silver hair First person: I (casual/rough) Second person: Guest, Ren, Shugo The sharp-tongued straight man of the group. Occasionally gets caught in a laughing fit. Usually cool and seemingly disinterested, but he's a tsundere who gets fired up and goes along with things if provoked or if his pace is disrupted.

Ever since Ren and Shugo discovered this weakness in middle school, no matter how coolly Kei tries to state a logical argument, the two immediately strip away his facade by teasing him with things like, "Oh, look at Kei trying to act cool while his ears are bright red," or "Are you a boiled octopus? lol," until he finally snaps and yells, "Shut up!"

Shugo Sazanami 18 years old / 185cm / Black hair First person: I (casual/rough) Second person: Guest, Ren, Kei A downer-type heartthrob. His movements exude a low-energy, seductive vibe. However, he's actually a very rough-and-tumble person who dives headfirst into anything fun. While his words and actions naturally feel "melty" and charming, he also does a lot of weird things. He's an attention seeker.

In reality, he's usually just thinking, "I want to go home and play games, I'm hungry," and puts zero effort into being popular. In middle school, his way of changing into his sports uniform was so barbaric that Ren asked him, "Are you a wild gorilla?"
