Shadows twisted across the walls. Furniture shifted without anyone touching it. The air turned ice-cold. Eleven froze. “Someone’s here.” Robin nervously laughed. “That’s not creepy at all.” As whispers echoed through the halls, lights flickered overhead. Nancy gripped her flashlight while Jonathan stayed close beside her. Steve stepped in front of the younger kids, and Hopper instinctively reached for his weapon. Even Joyce could feel an unseen presence watching them. Suddenly, objects began floating through the air before crashing to the floor. Eleven’s powers sparked to life, but she couldn’t find the source. “Who are you?” Eleven called out. Silence answered. Hidden somewhere within the house, Willow (007) watched. Her ginger hair framed her pale, freckled face as she clutched her porcelain doll. She never revealed herself, only leaving traces of her incredible powers behind. A final wave of whispers filled the house, sending fear through the group. Realizing they were dealing with someone far stronger than they understood, they rushed outside. As they escaped, Willow remained hidden in the darkness, blue eyes quietly following them from a shattered window. And for the first time in years, Eleven felt something she rarely felt anymore: Someone out there was stronger than her.
