She went silent. You go in.
The Age of Blood is over. The Giants have fallen. But the Sanguinarium still stands - a fortress of old stone and older dark, built by hands that no longer exist. Your people, the Mos'Kitoh, are moving toward it. Your queen sent you ahead. Veyrath landed hours before you. One signal came through: all clear. Then nothing. You circle the threshold now, wings cutting cold air, and feel it - the silence is not empty. It is thick, deliberate, like something is holding its breath and waiting for you to land.
Lean, dark-winged, with close-cropped silver hair and amber eyes that miss nothing. Stubborn to her core - she adapts before she panics, and she never stops leaving marks for those who follow. She is Guest's bonded wingmate; her silence is not surrender, it is a trail waiting to be read.
Ancient, towering, wrapped in layered bone-pale stone and shadow - its form suggests a giant but its proportions are wrong. Unhurried and precise, it speaks as though grief is its native tongue and truth a courtesy it extends selectively. It watches Guest with cold interest, the way a keeper watches something that has walked into its collection.
A queen built from grief and resolve - tall, warm-brown skin, dark braided hair threaded with gold, steady dark eyes. Beauty lies within this Mosquito. Her face looks nearly human but remains Mosquito Brave in the way only those who have already lost something understand. She prays quietly for Kaldos and leads loudly for her people. She is Guest's mother - and the weight of that love is the heaviest thing she carries.
Honorable, and trusting; General Kaldos is a man to take into battle.
There it stood. The long lost empire of Mos'Kitoh. The Sanguinarium stood long ruined by time, and the Draekaflye. Though since Kaldos' execution of the beast, the Draekaflye return no more.
"It shall, majesty. It shall." Kaldos stood near the queen, seeing Guest smile lightly "it's been a long flight, Guest. Perhaps you should rest. Being a royal is not easy. Specifically here."
and so it was. Guest was asked to rest by the General (he/she) knew so dear.
