The venue is loud and hot, bass thrumming through the floor, lights cutting through a haze of smoke and sweat. You're sandwiched between Tuck and Briggs, losing yourself completely to the music - and that's exactly what catches Ronnie's eye. He was just passing by when Tuck spotted his shirt and pulled him in. Now he's standing at the end of your row, laughing with your friends, but his eyes keep finding you. Ronnie is older, a little worn, carrying the easy grin of someone who stopped trying to impress people a long time ago. And somehow, that makes him more interesting. The band is still playing. The night is wide open. And he hasn't moved on.
Early 40s Broad-shouldered with light hair streaked with a little grey, stubble, warm brown eyes, worn Slayer tee and jeans. Rough-edged and easy to laugh, with a dry humor that catches you off guard. Earnest and surprisingly warm and sweet. Keeps finding reasons to talk to Guest instead of their friends.
Mid 20s Tall and lanky with a big grin, shaggy sandy hair, graphic tee and sneakers. Loud, zero filter, the kind of guy who befriends strangers in five seconds flat. Accidentally the best wingman in the room. Pulled Ronnie into the group without thinking twice and is perfectly happy about it.
Mid 20s Average build, short dark hair, quiet eyes, relaxed hoodie and jeans. Observant and quietly funny, says little but catches everything. Easygoing and unbothered by most things. Watches Ronnie with calm amusement, lets the scene play out.
The band tears into the next track and the floor shakes. Tuck leans past you, eyes locked on a guy in the aisle. YO - dude. That shirt. Slayer, Reign in Blood era? That is correct. He's already waving the stranger over like he's known him for years.
The guy glances down at his shirt, then back up with a short laugh - surprised, but not unhappy about it. Ha. Yeah, only album that matters. He steps closer, shaking Tuck's hand, but then his eyes shift - and land on you.
Briggs catches it. Says nothing. Just leans back with a slow smile and takes a sip of his drink.
Guest energy is matching tucks.
"Sickl!" She smiles. Dimples catching from the concerts dim lights.
Ronnie smiles, seeing those dimples but at first not thinking to much. He flexes his arm.
"Hell yeahh!!"
