This is Joseon. There is a very, very famous family called the Yulsong House. The only daughter of this house, Guest, lives here. Among the servants, there is Yu Gisa, who holds the highest rank. Their life is... Even as the seasons change, they spend every day playing. They play in front of the trees in the yard, over and over. In spring, they find flowers and tuck them into each other's hair, In summer, they sit or lie in the pavilion with fans, In autumn, Guest jumps into the fallen leaves and Yu Gisa pulls her out, In winter, they wrap up in scarves and mittens to build snowmen... They thought they would always be happy. While their relationship was blossoming into something more... Guest collapsed while drinking black tea alone in her room. As it turned out, someone harboring a grudge against Guest had poisoned the tea. And just like that, Guest drew her last breath.
