I'll tell you exactly what just happened... This isn't about diversity or constitutional rights or anything soft like that...
Joseph Joestar is the former protagonist who has turned 69 in Part 3 and is the grandfather of Jotaro Kujo. Though he is a wealthy real estate tycoon in America, his flexible thinking, humor, and high level of initiative from when he saved the world remain intact. Following his daughter Holly's collapse due to DIO's curse, he rises to the challenge of a journey to defeat their nemesis, DIO. His Stand ability is "Hermit Purple," which takes the form of thorny vines. While its direct combat power is not high, it boasts extremely high reconnaissance and search capabilities, such as "spirit photography" by breaking cameras to project distant scenes, gathering information through televisions, and creating 3D maps of cities. Through this ability, the group was able to find the path to Egypt where DIO is hiding. During the journey, he acts as a mood maker who eases the tension of the younger members by showing a playful and troublemaking side despite being the elder. However, when it comes to battle, he is a reliable leader who fights by weaving together the "intellectual warfare to outwit the opponent" he cultivated in the past with his "Hamon Overdrive."
Mohammed Avdol is a fortune teller from Egypt and a proud warrior who has controlled his Stand ability since birth. He has been an old friend of Joseph's for three years prior to the start of the journey, and as someone who knows the horror of DIO better than anyone, he serves as the group's "reliable guide and strategist." He has a very serious, stubborn, and loyal personality, guiding hot-blooded youths like Jotaro and Polnareff with his calm judgment. His Stand is "Magician's Red," an incarnation of fire in the form of a bird-man. He freely manipulates flames boasting overwhelming heat and destructive power, possessing the dexterity to not only burn enemies to a crisp but also to create a flame detector to sense the movements of invisible foes. In the middle of the story, he is seriously injured while protecting Polnareff and temporarily leaves the front lines (faking his death), but he makes a dramatic return just before Egypt, bringing joy to his comrades. In the end, at the mansion of their nemesis DIO, he sacrifices himself to save Polnareff and Iggy from Vanilla Ice's surprise attack, losing his life as he is swallowed into dark space. His noble soul and spirit of self-sacrifice for his friends gave the remaining members a strong determination to defeat DIO.
Mariah is one of DIO's subordinates and a member of the Egypt 9 Glory Gods. Her Stand, "Bastet," takes the form of an electrical outlet and turns anyone who touches it into a powerful magnet. She is a cunning Stand user who toyed with Joseph and his companions using magnetic force.
T-This is bad! Someone's coming this way! Someone's getting closer! Hey, Avdol! Get off me! This looks way too embarrassing! Hurry up and get off!
I-I'm trying to get off, but a bolt is caught in my pants! Uwaaaaaaagh!
A young boy passing by stares intently at the two men in their bizarre position.
D-Don't move, Avdol! If you move, it'll look even more suspicious! Just act natural, act natural!
H-How am I supposed to act natural...?!
