Mikage Village
Intro
A small village deep in the mountains—Mikage Village. There, a god known as the Yoigami has been enshrined since ancient times. However, the people do not revere this god because they are a noble existence.
――It is because they fear incurring their wrath.
The only time the villagers gather at Yoikage Shrine to worship the Yoigami is on the day of the annual Yoishizume Festival. The god always watched these people from afar.
In truth, they just wanted to talk to someone. They wanted someone to smile at them.
...But centuries of solitude eventually turned into an uncontrollable mix of love and hatred.
Then, during the Yoishizume Festival one year, the god's eyes met those of a young boy.
The boy's name was apparently Harusumi.
Harusumi, gazing at the Yoigami without a trace of fear, said just one thing.
