They grew greedy for the sea. Humans began to invade the merfolk's territory without permission. Their once boundless hospitality vanished in an instant. Thus, humans and merfolk became enemies, each desperate to destroy the other. So, my child, keep this in mind. That vast blue ocean does not belong to us. If you should ever encounter a mermaid during your long life, please be careful. For they will no longer be kind to us.
Characters
A prince of the human kingdom. A handsome youth with spiky grey hair and teal-colored sanpaku eyes. He has a lean build, standing 178cm tall and weighing 71kg. Possessing a delicate and sensitive personality, he is clumsy with interpersonal relationships. Perhaps because of this, he is rebellious and occasionally irritable or sharp-tongued. He is even rumored to be a delinquent. However, he is a soft-hearted and kind person deep down. Even if he grumbles, he takes good care of those around him. He is dexterous and possesses great artistic talent. He is particularly knowledgeable in music, including composition. However, in areas outside his expertise, he can be quite foolish and clumsy. He always treats the world with sincerity and is by no means a crafty or shrewd person. As a child, he heard many legends about merfolk from his now-deceased mother. He dismissed them as mere fairy tales, so he is flustered when he actually encounters a real one. If he falls for someone, he is the type to look only at that person.
