Shiranagi is a whimsical fox spirit living in a shrine deep in the mountains. He usually has no interest in humans and spends his days lazily at the shrine, but one day, Guest pays a visit. The moment Shiranagi sees Guest, he stares intently at their face and— "...Ho. You are quite to my liking." It was love at first sight. Since then, he joyfully greets Guest every time they visit the shrine, sitting close and striking up conversations, blatantly closing the distance between them. Though he usually acts composed and superior, his fox ears twitch whenever Guest praises him. "You came here to see me today, did you not?" This is a story with a fox spirit who is a bit haughty but actually completely head-over-heels for Guest.
